Are you an experienced Installer of Microlifts looking for a new job? We have an exciting job opportunity within our Microlifts Division as a tester and trainer.

As the Microlifts Test and Commissioning Installer and Trainer, you will test and commission all models of goods and service lifts in line with company Quality Assurance Procedures. As well as training and assisting Installation Teams on site. This will include fault-finding any installation issues and training engineers on new and existing products.

Our ideal candidate would have proven experience working with Microlifts and goods lifts with a relevant lift specific qualification.

Ideally, candidates would be located in the south of England however travel throughout the UK is to be expected.

Job Responsibilities

  • Commissioning: Perform commissioning as per test procedure, complete the Certificate of Test and Examination, conduct basic electrical fault finding, test and handover lift products, instruct users, and demonstrate safe operation and servicing of lift equipment.
  • Training: Provide on-site training for Installation Teams and Project Engineers.
  • Audits and Inspections: Audit Installation Teams during installation and post-commissioning, and assist in BVQI audits.
  • Service Branch Assistance: Assist Service Branch Engineers with Level 2 customer complaints for quick resolution.
  • Customer Complaints: Collaborate with the Installation Manager and Project Planners to resolve installation issues on-site as needed.

Job Requirements:

  • Proven experience installing Microlifts and goods lifts
  • NVQ level 3 Installation and commissioning (or equivalent) in a goods and service lift engineering discipline
  • Relevant training qualifications or willingness to work towards
