The UK & Ireland Talent (HR) team is based in our regional HQ in London and supports 1000+ employees in London, Dublin, Leeds and Peterborough, across Mediabrands and Kinesso. The team is comprised of over 40 individuals including HR Business Partners, Operations, Payroll & Benefits, Talent Acquisition and Learning & Development. We also work alongside the EMEA HR team based in London.

The Talent Acquisition team is 13 strong, and we partner closely with all areas of the business. In addition we focus on projects to make us stronger in areas such as DEI, our EVP, and Talent pipelining.

Role Description

We are looking for a personable, well organised recruiter from either an in-house or agency role to join our Talent Acquisition team in a 12 month Maternity Cover contract as a Senior Talent Acquisition Advisor. Our business is growing, and fast – and this is a great opportunity to join our department and help us to evolve a world class recruitment experience. 

The Senior Talent Acquisition Advisor will recruit across a range of media disciplines and agencies, working closely with our Talent Acquisition Business Partners. They will, with support of a Senior Talent Business Partner, also take leadership of recruitment for one of our leading agency brands, helping them to grow their business and define their recruitment strategy. 

In addition, they will take ownership of freelance recruitment across Mediabrands, helping to source exceptional contractor talent directly into urgent requirements, utilising our freelance workforce management platform.

The Senior Talent Acquisition Advisor will also have ample opportunity to be involved in wider Talent Acquisition projects and make real impact to our recruitment process.

Key Responsibilities

The role will vary day to day however will take ownership of the following:

You will build in-depth relationships with the hiring managers to ensure roles are filled cost-effectively with the best possible talent in the shortest timeframe.You will be comfortable headhunting and using your networks to hire talent directly into permanent roles, taking a commercial approach to recruitment, and keeping recruitment costs down.You will help to source and hire freelancers/contractors to assist with urgent and business critical projects and needs.Networking to build a sustainable talent pipeline is crucial to this role for referrals and roles and is something you excel at.Forge strong relationships with your stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor and a subject matter expertBuild relationships with employees internally to help us create a ‘referral culture’.Follow our recruitment process utilising our ATS and other technology to ensure data integrity throughout. Write creative and inspiring job adverts and post these across our job boards and within social media. Contribute and help lead on wider talent projects, helping the team to build a best-in-class recruitment experience. Collaborate across the team to ensure we support each other in our quest for the best talent in the marketplace, and be solution and idea orientated in improving our recruitment processes.

Desired Skills & Experience

You have a strong track record in recruiting media professionals into agency or client-side permanent roles within the media agency landscape, digital or tech space.You will ideally have some experience sourcing and hiring freelance professionals, and some understanding of the freelance marketplace and legislation (not compulsory) You can demonstrate a good understanding of the recruitment lifecycle including thorough brief-taking, headhunting (via Linked In and referrals), advertising, selection, assessment & offer management / after-care.You have experience interviewing candidates both face to face and over the phone.You have experience managing senior stakeholders and acting as a trusted talent advisor.You have a consultative approach and are comfortable working with complex, fast-moving organisations.Diversity, equity, and inclusion is central to your values and an integral part of your approach to recruitment.Experience of recruitment applicant tracking systems and ExcelYou are a strong relationship builder with candidates and hiring managers alike.You have an appreciation of the role marketing plays in talent attraction and acquisition – constantly looking for new ways to promote our brand and source top talent especially for niche or hard-to-fill roles.Key for you is a focus on high quality of output and tangible results for the business.
