Spire Occupational Health (Spire OH) is looking for a competent, compassionate, and confident Lead Immunisation Nurse to join our growing team

As a Lead Immunisation Nurse, you will lead the clinical delivery of the Immunisation services provided to the University of Worcester. You will report to the Regional Immunisation Nurse Manager and have the exciting opportunity to assist them in shaping the Immunisation services provision for the future.

Essential Requirements:

  • Must be a Registered Nurse with valid NMC pin.
  • Must have Post- registration experience in Immunisations.
  • Must be proficient in Phlebotomy.
  • Must have leadership/management experience.
  • Can evidence an up-to-date BLS & anaphylaxis.
  • Work Experience within a similar nursing role.
  • Access to a car and a valid driving license is required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • You will lead the clinical delivery of the Immunisation services provided to the University of Worcester.
  • Support the team with Clinical audits, including observational audit.
  • Improving and maintaining quality and safety standards and participate in all benchmarking and quality audits within the department such as SEQOHS.
  • Excellent delivery of KPIs/targets.
  • Supporting service modernisation when required.
  • Support the Recruitment team with colleague resourcing needs.
  • Colleague training and mentoring.
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of Immunisation issues within the speciality of Occupational Health and ensure this reflects in your own clinical practice.
  • Monitor the quality-of-service provision, identifying areas for service and professional development and facilitate implementation.
  • To work in accordance with the NMC Code of Professional Conduct, always maintaining professional standards.
  • Experience working in an Occupational Health setting is desirable but not essential.
