Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Vaccination Services: Administer vaccinations to children in schools and community clinics, adhering to national immunisation schedules and guidelines.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with programme managers, team leads, and clinical leads to ensure smooth service delivery and support the team in achieving its objectives.
  • School Aged Immunisation Service: Promote and support the operation of our school aged immunisation service, ensuring that all children receive the necessary vaccinations to protect them from preventable diseases.
  • Clinical Supervision: Participate in clinical supervision and performance development of staff, ensuring that all team members are equipped to provide high-quality care to patients.
  • Incident Reporting: Ensure that all clinical incidents, near misses, and complaints are reported, monitored, and processed in line with organisational policies and procedures.
  • Audit and Quality Improvement: Participate in audits, making recommendations based on findings and sharing outcomes with the team for learning and quality improvement.
Requirements
  • Registration: Be registered with the relevant professional body (GPhC, HCPC, GDC, GOC).
  • Experience: Have evidence of ongoing professional development and experience working within PGD frameworks.
  • Skills: Possess excellent communication, organisational, and time-management skills, as well as customer service and people management skills.
  • Education: Hold a relevant qualification in a healthcare profession.
