About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Staff Nurse to join our team on the Hadley Unit, a 9-bed mixed gender treatment ward in Worcester. The Hadley Unit provides a specialist inpatient service for adults with mental health needs, and we are looking for a passionate individual to work closely with our management and medical team.
Main Responsibilities
As a Staff Nurse, you will be responsible for ensuring patient care is of the highest standards, acting as a role model at all times, and using your initiative to maintain quality and safety. You will also assist in supporting and educating junior staff, and work collaboratively with our Complex Discharge facilitator, Home Treatment Teams, and the Crisis Resolution Team.
Our Team
Our inpatient teams are friendly and welcoming, providing a nurturing team environment to foster personal and professional development. We pride ourselves on providing outstanding care to patients across Herefordshire and Worcestershire, and we are committed to supporting our staff in their careers.
What We Offer
We offer a range of benefits, including 27 days leave plus bank holidays, increasing up to 33 days with long service, a generous NHS pension, and flexible and agile working opportunities. We also provide great maternity, paternity, and adoption support, as well as a wide range of staff networks and health and wellbeing opportunities.
Person Specification
We are looking for a candidate with sound clinical skills, the ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English, and a commitment to clinical supervision.
