Your typical day could start with chairing your programme steering board with your most senior stakeholders ensuring vision, scope and outcomes of the program are developed and maintained and they’re provided with appropriate oversight of progress. Then you might be joining a project working group to help remove blockers and, support in resolving issues to move projects forward at pace or work alongside other Programme Managers to manage cross programme dependencies.

As a Programme Manager you’ll be the face of the Repairs program and no one day is the same. You’ll be at the centre of the program, developing strategic roadmaps, providing expert guidance and project leadership to the projects within, playing a crucial role supporting the practical delivery of the program for residents and colleagues. With a particular focus on helping improve Peabody’s repair service, you’ll actively work with subject matter experts and project teams to move us forward to deliver our objectives.

You’re a people person who likes to get things done. You’ll enjoy working collaboratively with other teams and you’re first rate at building strong relationships across the business, particularly with senior stakeholders liaising with them frequently to deliver concise information on delivery, you’ll easily read the room knowing when to push and hold back in key meetings. To be successful in this role you’ll need to be in the office for two days per week and the remaining time you’ll be able to work remotely.

Your role as a Repairs Programme Manager will lead on delivering a Repairs Transformation programme to improve our repairs service offering to residents. You’ll be at the helm of this programme, along with delivering the business outcomes, working with both change and operational teams.

To be a success in this role, you’re:

A seasoned, experienced Programme Manager with tangible experience of delivering change programs made up of multiple projects / workstreams. Great at building relationships at all levels; concise in your messaging and able to adapt your style to suit your audience. A strong facilitator, able to work with gravitas, courage and be calm under pressure, building credibility and respect with every interaction. Customer focused, putting the customer at the centre of everything you do. Able to assess large amounts of information, quickly cutting through to what matters to customers; Scoping and shaping programs and projects when the requirement is not clear. Experienced in delivering repair programs.
