Responsibilities:
- Lead the people policy development lifecyclefrom concept to implementation including engagement with ourrecognised trade unions ensuring policies are wellcommunicated andeffective
- Work collaboratively across PeopleServices to integrate people policy initiativessmoothly
- Develop strategies to embed andsustain people policies throughout the council fostering a cultureof understanding compliance andengagement
- Forge strong partnerships withsenior leaders to ensure people policies reflect and support LCCsstrategic priorities
- Engage stakeholders tofacilitate comprehensive people policy review and developmentfocusing on impactful outcomes
Qualifications:
- MCIPD level qualification or equivalent throughrelevant training and/or workexperience
- Project managementqualifications
- Proven track record in leadingthe lifecycle of people policy reviews and development programmeswith successful outcomes preferably in a large complex and diverseorganisation
- Experience as a peopleprofessional in a large and complexorganisation
