About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Children and Young People Lead to join our team at CHEC. As a key member of our People team, you will play a critical role in delivering and implementing key elements of our People strategy, aligning with our company objectives and fostering a positive and inclusive work culture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee employee relations, performance management, workforce planning, health and wellbeing, compensation and benefits, service delivery, policies and procedures to support the organisation's growth and success.
  • Develop and implement people strategies that align with the company goals and promote a positive workplace culture.
  • Manage the compensation and benefits programs, ensuring competitiveness and compliance with relevant regulation in line with business needs and colleague feedback.
  • Conduct market research to benchmark compensation and benefits against industry standards.
  • Act as an advisor to the People Business Partner team on case management. Advise management and deputise for the Chief People Office as and when needed.
  • Full CIPD qualified/equivalent HR degree qualified.
  • Highly organised with excellent planning skills.
  • Able to combine strategic thinking with HR operational knowledge.
  • A practical and common-sense approach to HR related matters.
