About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Team Leader at the Cambian Group, a leading provider of care and education for children and young people.

As a Team Leader, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and safety of our young people, working closely with our Residential Care Workers to provide high-quality care and support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading shifts and deputising for the Registered Manager as required
  • Ensuring Residential Care Workers are up-to-date with mandatory learning and supporting their individual development
  • Communicating with the on-site team and raising awareness of individual care plans
  • Maintaining accurate records and contributing to team and staff meetings
  • Providing support and care to our young people, encouraging their preparation for re-entry into education or engagement in current schooling
  • Traveling with young people to and from school or college, preparing food, and maintaining the home environment
  • Organising and facilitating social activities

We offer a competitive rate of pay, up to £13.20 per hour, dependent on experience and qualifications, as well as a range of benefits, including a £2000 welcome bonus and £500 refer-a-friend scheme.

Requirements
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Desire to earn a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent
  • 12 months experience in a Residential setting (desirable but not essential)
  • DBS and reference checking will be undertaken in line with government regulations and safer recruitment best practice
