We are looking to appoint a Band 7 Service Manager for General Surgery, Vascular and ALAC. The post holder will be responsible for the day to day operational and performance issues within designated area of responsibility to ensure the Delivery Unit delivers on its key targets and priorities in a safe, sustainable and effective environment.
Main duties of the job
Report the key performance indicators for the specialty area.
Support in the delivery of single cancer pathway.
Seek better and innovative ways to manage and deliver services more efficiently and effectively, supporting service modernisation.
Ensuring junior staff rotas are functional .
Day to day management of staff within area of responsibility.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
