We are thrilled to announce an incredible opportunity for a Regulatory Reporting Accountant to join our team in Regulatory Reporting. In this role, you’ll be involved in the production of the Society’s FINREP reporting to the PRA, and Statistical Reporting to the Bank of England. You’ll also help to identify and implement improvements/ efficiencies in the reporting process.

This is a hybrid role; remote working with one day per week in our central Leeds office.


About the role


As a Regulatory Reporting Accountant, you will -

  • Join the Financial Accounting team, a great opportunity to be part of a team delivering essential reporting to the PRA

  • Support the Regulatory Reporting Manager and the Senior Financial Accounting Manager, taking a primary responsibility for producing the reports, understanding reported information, maintaining quality assurance and control

  • Constantly strive for excellence when it comes to our regulatory reporting obligations, as well as provide expert accounting guidance that helps drive great decision making and right business outcomes


About you


What will you bring to the role?

  • Qualified Accountant with knowledge of financial reporting activities

  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills

  • Organised approach, inquisitive and have an appetite to challenge and improve existing processes

  • Track record of building relationships with key stakeholders, good collaboration skills

  • Strong digital literacy, for example, Excel skills
