You will be working with our enthusiastic and dynamic team in providing the best clinical service for patients by working closely with other healthcare professionals.

We are open to both qualified and newly qualified pharmacists to join our innovative team of band 6 pharmacists. You will rotate through different areas of pharmacy and specialties within the Trust gaining foundation knowledge of hospital pharmacy.

Main duties of the job

Providing pharmaceutical care within pharmacy and on the wards Supporting the department with out of hours commitments such as weekends, late duty and on-call. Completing Band 6 Objectives for each rotation Attending and supporting dedicated Band 6 Teaching Completing the approved North Central London Diploma that is funded by the Trust.

We also provide community services and have a dedicated 0-19 service for children and young people in Enfield so that they can get the best possible start in life. This includes health visitors and school nurses who are delivering the national Healthy Child Programme, which provides a structured framework for the delivery of key interventions to support the health and wellbeing of children and families from 0 to 5 and school aged children from 5-19. The 0-19 service aims to improve pathways and partnerships with services in the hospital and deliver excellent care for the children and families.

Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council or registered by start date MRPharm or equivalent

Computer Literate To have a good working knowledge on health and safety issues at work

Relevant hospital pharmacy experience Experience in the training and development of junior staff Ability to deal directly with public, senior clinicians and other health service staff Recent clinical pharmacy/ward pharmacy experience Project management experience

Ability to work methodically whilst under pressure Effective verbal and written communication skills with all disciplines, colleagues and patients Ability to deal sympathetically and courteously with patients and/or members of the general public Ability to work a part of a team or alone as required Effective organisation and prioritisation skills in workplace
