Roles & Responsibilities
Day-to-day team management of the operations office, NDT and Paint sections. Plan and schedule MPBU workload in line with the site production schedule, through Quantum ERP system. Maintain and ensure implementation of all standard operating practices and procedures. Train, motivate and performance manage staff; complete performance reviews, identify training and development opportunities for team members. Manage first level discipline and grievance issues for team members. Maintain the function of plant and equipment to include machine maintenance (preventative and scheduled). Maintain and monitor stock levels of machine shop consumables. Co-ordinate the efficient use and organisation of resources and equipment to meet the production schedule. Plan for and support the implementation of new product development initiatives. Ensure strict compliance and implementation of all safety standards. Ensure component work is undertaken in accordance with procedures from CMM’s and overhaul manuals. Liaise with the customer support team to facilitate achievement of efficient and effective customer service levelsExperience required
Experience within Engineering Industry Team leadership experience within a production workshop environment Computer literate
