Position: Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant.
Location: Preston, PR2.
Salary: Competitive, based on experience and qualifications.
Contract Type: Full-time temporary.
Start Date: ASAP.

The RoleAs a SEMH Secondary Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students who may have challeneing behaviour and face difficulties learning. You will work closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create a positive and inclusive learning environment. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the implementation and monitoring of Behaviour Support Plans and EHC Plans.
- Providing targeted one-on-one or small group support to students with behavioural challenges.
- Assisting in the creation and adaptation of behaviour management strategies and resources.
- Helping students develop social, emotional, and communication skills.
- Supporting classroom management and promoting positive behaviour.
- Encouraging an inclusive and supportive school culture.
- A supportive and collaborative working environment.

- Experience working with secondary school students with special educational needs and behavioural challenges is desirable.

- A commitment to the safeguarding and welfare of students.
- Relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification) are advantageous but not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
