We have anopportunity for an experiencedMachineOperatorto join our Arb Utility an Inland Waterwaydivision based in theCambridge/East Angliaarea. This is apivotal role supporting our work across a wide range of sitesNationally. We are seeking a skilledand experienced Machine Operator to join ourteam.

As a Machine Operator you will work on thewaterways utilities and construction sites so experience in workingwithin these sectors would beadvantageous.

Duties required of a machineoperator are to include but not limited to: Using your experienceto assist in the scoping of works preparation of method statementsand risk assessments.

Be able to read andunderstand site plans and work according to written or verbalinstruction.

Working in a clean and tidy manordoing your upmost to protect the environment and avoidpollution.

Looking after all equipment keeping itin a clean and undamaged state all damage to equipment must bereported.

Complete pre start equipment checksrecord findings and submit as required.

Completeroutine maintenance and lubrication ofequipment.

Operate any plant or equipment you aretrained and competent to use this may be owned or hired in and willinclude the use of specialisedattachments.

Comply with legislation i.e. Healthand safety at work LOLER COSHHEtc

Ideally you will have abackground in waterways or construction with some experience usingVegetation / Forestry Equipment but skillsets will be assessedindividually.
