JobSummary:

Provide highquality and comprehensive landlord support to the service users toempower them to live as independently aspossible.

Provide housingsupport service and tenancy management to residents living in anExtra Care scheme for the elderly or those with care needs 7 daysper week and provide emergencyresponse.

Manage complexcasework including but not limited to safeguarding domestic abusemental health older people support hoarding property conditionmediation and dispute resolution antisocial behaviour alcohol andsubstance misuse and troubledfamilies.

Provideproperty management function meeting all health and safety andresidents safetyrequirement.

Carry outtesting and regular inspections of dwellings communal areas and thewider estates raise repairs and follow through to satisfactorycompletion.

Be part of ahighly visible team working mostly onsite having regular facetofacecontact with residents. Display respect at all times get thingsdone and own the matter to itsconclusion.

KeyDuties/Accountabilities:

To deliver highquality services in respect of the Extra Care scheme and specialisthousing management service 7 days a week with variable hours from8am through to Midnight. To provide effective out of hourscover.

Maintain aclear understanding of the objectives direction and development ofthe Extra Care service area to meet changing needs with particularemphasis on customer relations tenant satisfaction continuousservice improvement to ensure a positive image of the Council isportrayed at alltimes.

To contributetowards the development of a culture within the service which iscustomer focussed committed to ensuring value for money and toprovide a high standard of customer service health and safety andthe Council s corevalues.

EssentialExperienceRequired:

Experience ofdelivering customer facing tenancy management and complex caseworkmanagement isessential.

Experience ofdelivering property management function and knowledge of underlyinghealth and safety and residents safety regulations and otherregulatory principles isessential.

Experience ofmaintaining partnerships isessential.

EssentialQualificationRequired:

Housing relatedqualification or willingness to undertake professional on the jobtraining isessential.

A good generalstandard of education written and good verbal skills isessential.

Additionalinformation tonote:

Working hours:35 hours perweek.

Enhanced DBScheck is required for therole.

Ability andwillingness to travel between locations isessential.

The candidateis expected to work at Later Living and Extra Care services thatoperates 7 days a week24/7.
