M&E Sales and Planning Executive –art'otel Battersea

We are recruiting for our first art’otel in London A premium lifestyle hotel situated in the heart of the new, iconic Battersea Power Station development. Perched on the Electric Boulevard, the 164 keys art’otel London Battersea power station sits in the heart of this newly energised neighbourhood, offering restaurants, bars, shops and galleries, amidst the eye-catching architecture that surrounds the historical Battersea Power Station. 

Your main role is to respond to and convert enquiries through the various online portals, emails and telephone calls to achieve Meetings & Events rooms budgets for the hotels.

Tasks as an Meetings & Events Sales and Planning Executive include, but are not limited to:

Responding to all M&E enquiries (small, medium and large scale) in timely manner and converting them into confirmed bookings. Generating quotes based on guidelines provided and sends it out to potential clients. Using negotiating skills, strong judgement, and creative selling abilities to close on business and negotiate contracts as well as upsell where possible to ensure M&E targets and budgets are achieved. Conducting client show arounds and menu tastings when applicable. Issuing contracts and deposit requests for confirmed business. Maintaining strong client relationships to ensure smooth event planning process for the client and return business. Introduces fresh new ideas to drive service standards accommodate client’s needs. Working closely with M&E operations and kitchen teams to ensure smooth event delivery. Producing clear and accurate BEOs, attends weekly BEO meetings. Handing over to the team in charge on the day. Staying for the first couple of hours on the day of the event might be required for large scale events. Supporting M&E Sales and Planning Manager with reporting and Ad Hoc projects when required. Flexible and adaptable to everchanging new opening environment. Having a strong commitment to personal and professional growth. Demonstrating passion for events and excellent hospitality.
