About the Role:
We are enhancing our Sales team and are in search of a Sales Manager. As a vital member of the team, you will be tasked with driving new business growth within our Venue Search segment.
Your responsibilities will include proactively identifying new business opportunities and cultivating strong client relationships to meet sales objectives. We are looking for a confident and passionate individual who is eager to secure new business, establish connections, and possesses the ability to think creatively.
As a Sales Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Developing new business relationships and negotiating new revenue streams to meet annual targets
- Presenting BCD Meetings & Events to prospective clients through various communication channels
- Effectively managing the complete sales process
- Collaborating with internal teams to implement new business initiatives
- Staying informed about industry trends by attending networking events and keeping abreast of developments
- Managing and maintaining your sales pipeline
- Enjoying the dynamic nature of the role

- Taking initiative and adopting a proactive approach
- Networking and establishing new connections
- Achieving results against established sales targets
- Demonstrating strong commercial awareness
- Exhibiting excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in event industry sales
- Strong knowledge of UK venues
- Experience with Salesforce or other CRM systems
