Customer Service Advisor - Belper

Blue Arrow Derby is looking to recruit Customer Service Advisors to join professional and friendly team on a full-time permanent basis aiding in helping customers have a positive experience and resolution to any queries or issues related to a product.

What duties would you be doing within the Customer Service Advisor role?


* You will be dealing with customers who contact the client via telephone, email, or live chat to arrange engineer visits.
* Using your customer service skills, you will provide an effortless customer journey and
experience through a variety of communication channels.
* You will gain an understanding of each customer's situation, spotting potential opportunities to deliver excellent customer service.
* Ensure all telephone calls are answered within our service level agreement, booking,
engineer visits utilising the Salesforce platform.
* Work in line with Contact Centre processes and targets to ensure a professional service is provided at all levels.
* Work closely with our customers to keep them informed and delighted with the customer service they have experienced.
* Ensure compliance with all regulations.

What will you bring to the Customer Service Advisor role?


* At least 1-2 year's previous customer service experience is essential.

* GCSE grade 4 in English or an equivalent qualification
* Solid recent work history within customer service
* At least 1 year's previous customer service in a call centre is desirable.
* Excellent telephone manner
* Strong communication skills
* Demonstrate the drive to deliver world class service to all customers.
* Ability to use Microsoft applications and web-based platforms.
* Highly approachable with good interpersonal
* Motivational to work alone or as part of a team.
* Flexible approach to learning new skills to support business requirements.
* Self-starting with a positive outlook and determination to succeed.

Hours: Mon - Sun - 39.5 hours per week (based on-site only)
* Between 8:00am - 6:00pm (Monday to Friday)
* 8am - 3pm (Saturdays) - usually 1 in every 3
* 8am -12pm (Sundays) - usually 1 in every 5



Please note flexibility on hours is needed during peak times of October-March, and annual leave will be limited.

What is the interview process for the Customer Service Advisor role?
Interviews will be a 2-stage interview including an initial telephone interview, and then a final face-to-face interview at their assessment centre in Belper, with a potential start date mid of September.

Where is the Customer Service Advisor role based?
Our client is based in Belper, so if you live in Belper and the surrounding areas, that's great and should be an easy short commute. If you drive, free on-site parking is available. If you don't drive, there are bus stops within a 5-10-minute walk to the site, and 20-minute walk from Belper Train Station. Please note this is an on-site working role.
