Solar Design Engineer

Location:Manchester(hybrid)
Responsibilities:
- Creatingdetailed electrical designs for Solar PV systems spanning fromfeasibility assessments to projecthandover.
- Handling submissions of DistributionNetwork Operator (DNO) applications addressing design inquiries andfurnishing compliant design resolutions.
- Collaborating within a multidisciplinary teamof technical designers project managers and project communicatorsto propose costeffective and meticulous technical designs alignedwith client requirements.
- Leading designmeetings to define project briefs and requirements in coordinationwith electrical operational and projectmanagers.
- Offering internal support for SolarPVrelated queries and providing guidance to junior designers.Staying abreast of relevant technologies to advise the company onoptimal technology selections.
- Assisting inthe design of mechanical systems and equipment to ensure a safe andefficient workingenvironment.
Qualifications:
- Minimumof 23 years experience in Solar PV projects encompassing domesticor commercial applications.
- Demonstratedproficiency in utilising CAD software for generating technicaldesigns.
Previous exposure to SolarPV batteries and parts list management isadvantageous
