About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Solar Engineer to join our team at Ramboll Group A/S. As a Senior Solar Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering innovative Solar PV projects and contributing to our company's mission to create a sustainable future.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Delivery: Take ownership of consultancy projects in the Solar PV sector, from conceptual stage to detailed engineering and owner's engineering services during execution.
  • Technical Solutions: Develop and design solar PV layouts for commercial and utility projects, optimize plant size, and manage associated infrastructure assessments.
  • Collaboration: Liaise with electrical engineers, BESS experts, and planning consultants to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Proposal Development: Support the development of solar PV business plans, provide technical input to proposals and bids, and represent Ramboll in conferences and renewable energy events.
  • Team Support: Train and guide junior team members, and support the development of in-house tools and templates.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Mechanical/Electrical/Energy Engineer, degree level qualified.
  • Experience: Proven experience in Solar PV or renewable energy sector, strong understanding of UK renewable energy markets, and excellent renewable energy project management skills.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with commercial solar PV design software such as PVsyst.
