About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Solar Engineer to join our team at Ramboll Group A/S. As a Senior Solar Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering consultancy projects in the Solar PV sector, from conceptual stage to execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Delivery: Take ownership of delivery of consultancy projects in Solar PV sector, ensuring successful project execution and meeting client expectations.
  • Technical Solutions: Develop and implement technical solutions, including designing solar PV layouts for commercial and utility projects, optimizing plant size, and managing associated infrastructure assessments.
  • Collaboration and Liaison: Liaise with electrical engineers, BESS experts, and planning consultants to ensure successful project delivery, and work with suppliers and contractors to obtain proposals and develop project costing.
  • Business Development: Support the development of the solar PV business plan, and provide technical input to proposals and bids.
  • Representation and Training: Represent Ramboll in conferences and renewable energy events, and train and guide junior members of the team.
  • Tool Development: Support the development of in-house tools and templates.
About You

We are looking for a Mechanical/Electrical/Energy Engineer with a degree-level qualification and proven experience in Solar PV or renewable energy sector. You should have a strong understanding of UK renewable energy markets, excellent project management skills, and technical skills including familiarity with commercial solar PV design software such as PVsyst.
