RSM Technology& Management Consulting is a fast-growing team which aims to be the leadingprovider of specialist technology advisory services to SMEs, the mid-market andthe public sector.   Through its acquisition of the FHL NetSuite businessin 2017, and in combination with the existing RSM NetSuite team, RSM TMC is aleading provider of NetSuite implementation services in the UK and globally.

Role outline

Our ProjectManagement team is looking for a Project Management Officer that offers hybridworking. You would be the key point of contact for a portfolio of clientsacross multiple projects or provide support to a Senior Project DeliveryManager on a larger project. As a Project Management Officer, you will workclosely with the Account Management, Product Consulting, Functional Consulting,Development, Operations and Quality teams ensuring clients receive ahigh-quality service in all aspects.

The successfulcandidate will join a growing and award-winning ERP implementation practice withinTechnology & Management Consulting.  RSM sees a significantopportunity to expand our implementation services in the UK to both SMEs andthe mid-market.  Most of our current implementations involve NetSuite.

The successfulcandidate will:

  • Project manage one or more NetSuite (and other) ERP implementations from start to finish or specific stages of project.
  • Advise and lead clients on the delivery of a portfolio of small, medium and large projects, including defining governance, deliverables, managing timelines, budgets, reporting and issue resolution.
  • Create and maintain project records and project plans in a timely and accurate manner to drive accurate reporting and delivery.
  • Liaise with resourcing managers and leads to allocate appropriately skilled and experienced functional, technical and development resources to projects to ensure delivery within agreed timelines.
  • Escalate project issues and concerns with recommendations in a timely manner.
  • Work closely with the client Execs, Project Managers, technical teams and third parties and build strong and trusting partnerships with them.
  • Support Product Consulting with scoping of projects as part of the pre-sales process.
  • Take handover from the Product Consulting team and subsequently work with Functional Consulting, Development, Support and Quality teams to deliver projects.
  • Manage specialist teams have the information they need to deliver an excellent service to clients.
  • Ensure the Client understands what will be expected and when and support them through the process.
  • Be the focal point of contact for all staff working on the project, client issues and escalations.
  • Adhere to the RSM project delivery framework, processes, and artefacts across the full project lifecycle.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of project delivery.
  • Support pre-sales and help to sell NetSuite (or other ERP) implementation projects.

CandidateRequirements

Essential

  • Direct experience of as a PMO or similar.
  • Experience of IT deployments is required.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills, along with well-developed interpersonal skills and an ability to relate to clients and colleagues.
  • Personal organisation and time management skills.
  • A passion for delivering real business value through technology.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • A high level of personal professionalism and attention to detail in work outputs.

Desirable

  • Experience with ERP systems.
  • An appreciation of core finance and business processes from a systems and business point of view e.g. procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, record-to-report, multi-company consolidation.
  • A project management or ERP implementation qualification (e.g. MSP, Prince2, Agile PM, SuiteSuccess, Oracle AIM / UoM) or similar project delivery method.
  • Other IT project/programme management experience.
  • A good understanding of at least one ERP or accounting system.
  • Working towards financial and / or project management.
