We continue to grow and would like to welcome more people in our Industrial Gases - Customer Engineering (UK, Ireland, Israel, Italy & Norway). We are looking for a Project Management Officer to be based in Crewe and reporting to the Engineering Manager for UK, Ireland, Israel, Italy and Norway (UKI3N).

**As a Project Management Officer, you will**
- Work with the engineering, expert and operations teams and provide support to project managers and technical discipline engineers to run the engineering projects so that they are delivered on time and budget at the required quality. You will also support with improvements and reductions in cost savings.
- Provide support to a team of project managers and engineers with project related activities to ensure successful delivery of projects. The support involves as follows.
- Work in SAP enterprise platform, i.e. Project Management, Procurement and Time Allocation type transactions.
- Work in company tools, such as Orchestra (PU), SAP, QlikSense, MS Office, i.e. maintaining project management database, issuing Expenditure Authorization Requests (EAR) forms, and providing variety of reports on KPIs, WD10, Learnex, Budget follow up, Capitalization, Event Management, change management etc.
- Ensure flawless workflow of Expenditure Authorization Requests approval, Capitalization and Asset Removal processes related to the projects.
- Be responsible for ensuring that project materials, equipment and contractor services are purchased in accordance with company procurement procedures. This includes equipment and services requisitioning, maintaining SAP material masters, processing invoices for the team, maintain Project Material Tracking lists to accurately reflect the order and delivery status of project Materials and Equipment.
- Be responsible for proactively engaging with the Project Team and other 3rd parties to resolve any equipment / service requisition discrepancies.
- Act as the link between the project managers, engineers and other disciplines, i.e. including but not limited to Procurement, Shared Service Centre and Project Accounting.
- Facilitate Project Development and Execution Process meetings, i.e. presentation preparations, team meetings, team building support of team development plan execution and activities etc.
- Act as a Continuous Improvement lead for small projects (i.e. process mapping)

**As a Project Management Officer, you already are or have**
- Ability to use SAP and a database-based project management tool.
- A structured and disciplined approach to accurately and timely supporting project schedules and budgets and prioritising work to ensure there is no, or mínimal, impact on the project schedule or cost.
- Ability to identify potential problems before they occur and ensure the situation is resolved.
- Ability to work with vendors to ensure orders are delivered to schedule.
- Flexibility to accommodate sudden changes to priorities due to project requirements.
- Strong teamwork skills.
- Good interpersonal, organizing and coordinating skills.
- Ability to communicate and work cross functionally inside of Air Products.
