**About the role**
Balfour Beatty has an exciting opportunity for a **Project Management Assistant **to join our Rail team to work in Crewe**.**

The purpose of the role is to support and assist delivering the overall project portfolio managed by the Central Rail Systems Alliance teams (NW&C Region).

**What you'll be doing**
You will have the following accountabilities:

- Support the Project Management team to deliver individual projects or parts of projects in a safe & environmentally responsible manner to time, cost and quality, in accordance with CRSA procedures, GRIP4Track, applicable Network Rail company standards, current legislation and procedures including HMRI guidance where appropriate
- Support the Project Management team to provide a professional, consistent and effective project management service including the use of performance indicators and project reporting systems in accordance with Railway Group and Network Rail’s company standards and guidelines
- Support the Project Management team to manage the development and delivery of change projects in compliance with company processes and procedures
- Support the Project Management team to manage tactical change and risks within the project life cycle for allocated schemes

**Who we're looking for**
You will have the following qualities and experience:
Essential
- Successful relevant experience including office admin duties, report writing and facilitating meetings
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Knowledge & experience of working in Rail Project environment
