The opportunity

We’re looking for a full time Fleet Training Support Specialist within the Nuclear Skills Alliance (NSA). Within this role, you will work in a team that hold responsibility for the administration and management of training role profile builds within the company Learning Management System as well as training compliance reporting and analysis at a fleet level.

This position will work alongside the existing Fleet Training Support Specialist to provide additional capacity for administration of our training system, build and maintenance of training role profile structures, reporting on overall training compliance and the provision of advice and guidance to key stakeholders in relation to training compliance, training role profiles and the system capabilities.

The role is based at our Gloucester Business Park office, with a mix of hybrid working.

Pay, benefits and culture 

We can offer a competitive salary ranging from £35,000 and you will be appointed based on the parameters outlined in the Company Agreement as well as your existing salary, competence, experience and qualifications.

What you will be doing

The core responsibilities and day-to-day tasks of the Fleet Training Support Specialist are varied. We are looking for someone who is keen and proactive to become a main point of contact for training role profile build, maintenance, reporting and analysis for the existing Power Stations and Central Support Functions, including the move to defueling. They will also provide reporting and data for fleet compliance indicators and other Key Performance Indicators.

The successful candidate will be heavily involved with the administration of MyLearningHub, providing oversight of the system from a Nuclear Operations perspective and supporting system users with advice and guidance on any queries. They will also need to understand the MyLearningHub infrastructure and how to utilise this to improve the system, including rolling out system upgrades to the business aimed at enhancing the functionality available to EDF.

The individual will be required to engage with stakeholders, at all levels, to gain an understanding of the requirements of the business and system capability.

Who you are

To be successful in this role, you will:

Have an knowledge of Learning Management Systems (MyLearningHub or similar) Have an understanding of training role builds and training compliance requirements Be proficient with IT tools, most notably MS Excel and Word Have a project mind-set to effectively implement changes into the organisation Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to give advice on best practice/procedures. Have an understanding of the needs of quality with evidence of operating in a high quality environment Ability to maintain the integrity of the Nuclear Skills Alliance, through ensuring close working relationships with key stakeholders
