**The Opportunity**

As our Fleet Training Lead you’ll drive fleet performance improvement through deployment of the principles of GOSP (Governance, Oversight, Support and Perform), ensuring that training best practices are replicated and implemented across all stations.

We can offer a competitive salary from £54,391-£84,892 and you’ll be appointed based on the parameters outlined in the Nuclear Generation Company Agreement as well as your existing salary, competence, experience and qualifications.

**What you’ll be doing**

Fleet Training Leads have a number of tasks to carry out, of which you’ll:

- Establish and promote fleet policies and procedures based on industry best practice and regulatory requirements.
- Influence and support stations in achieving safety and commercial targets.
- Organise and deliver fleet training peer assists across the Generation Business.
- Lead a team of peers in assessing station an central performance against set standards and deliver both the positive and negatives outcomes to station management teams and the Nuclear Generation management team.
- Share all relevant training OPEX across your peer group to ensure consistent development.
- Carry out analysis of key performance indicators and programme health utilising insights to highlight areas of concern to the Fleet, agreeing action plans.

Alongside the above, you’ll also play an integral part in the development of Fleet strategic and function peer group improvement plans, assisting in the preparation of strategy and support for programmatic inspections by regulators & industry experts. You’ll also be responsible for staff, with a direct report where you will undertake leadership activities supported by your line manager.

You’ll also take part in general NODS oversight and support areas such as Cornerstone missions as part of a wider cross functional team

**Who you are**

As a Fleet Training Lead you’ll bring the following attributes to your role:

- Experience of working within the Nuclear industry, having knowledge of sources of information, best practice standards (WANO/INPO)
- You’ll have an awareness of the Systematic Approach to Training, and experience in participation of Task Teams or Peer Groups preferred.
- Proficient in Project Management, being able to keep pace whilst managing emergent issues and subsequent OPEX as a result.
- You’ll be a team player, inclusive and engaging. With a presence across the Fleet there will be plenty of relationships for you to nurture and support.
