Our London-based EMEA & UK team comprises c. 100 people, who are dedicated to Disney’s business, and supported by local teams in 27 markets across the EMEA region, who are a true extension of our team.

About the role....

Publicis Media is actively seeking a UK Business Director to lead the Disney Studios UK business, one of Publicis Groupe’s largest assignments. In this role, you will oversee a team of planning experts, leading them towards the objective of executing the most distinctive, efficient, and impactful paid media campaigns for one of the globe's most iconic entertainment brands.

You will be tasked with leading the media output for all six of Disney's Studios (Animation, Live Action, 20th Century Studios, Marvel, Pixar, Lucas, Searchlight) encompassing the three modes of distribution - Theatrical, Electronic Home Video, and Disney+ Studios. This broad scope allows for growth and development in all facets of film and content marketing.

The pandemic has expedited significant changes in how people consume film content in recent years. The traditional theatrical experience now competes with the convenience of at home viewing, both of which are equally important to Disney's success. Moreover, the continual rise in media fragmentation adds an intriguing layer of complexity to the task of developing and implementing engaging media campaigns. As the UK Business Director for Studios, you will expertly navigate Disney through these waters, assisting Disney in maintaining its leading position in the industry.

Qualifications

Previous Media Agency experience where you have been responsible for / led and grown a large account, preferably in the entertainment vertical, through skilful client and Team management.
