An opportunity for a part time Administrative Offices has become available within the above team supporting the work of the Administration Education & Early Help Service. Working pattern for the post are negotiable.

This is a busy role and there is an expectation that the post holder is able to manage their own workload and yet work as part of a team, to ensure all the responsibilities of supporting the teams are considered and acted upon within agreed timescales.

The successful candidate will have minute-taking skills, (however training will also be given) together with a proven administrative background.

Candidates must be able to demonstrate how they meet the following key factors for the post in order to be shortlisted for interview. The key factors are:

  • Experience of taking minutes to produce an accurate account of the meeting.
  • Possess a good understanding of the concept of positive team working and able to develop and maintain positive working relationships with the teams and partner organisations.
  • Possess excellent organisational skills in order to meet tight deadlines.
  • To work autonomously across teams and deliver excellent customer service demonstrating flexibility
  • To ensure the local authority client database systems is updated as required and all information is validated and confidentiality is adhered to.
  • To have an understanding of the data protection principles and how to apply these principles within work and when handling personal or sensitive data
  • Ability to work as part of a team and to work across Children’s Services Administration
