What you'll do
This is a varied and busy role that will require you to work closely with your peers and Area Construction Managers to ensure regulatory and customer targets are met across all scheduling functions, including Water Supply Repair and Maintenance, Reinstatement, Plumbers and Streetworks.
You should be able to develop and implement corporate and department-wide strategies and policies, challenging processes where appropriate and bringing new ideas to drive efficiencies. It is essential you maintain an awareness of daily compliance and implement improvements to targets that are at risk.
Our Scheduling department takes pride in delivering the best service possible to our customers and our “can do” team culture helps us achieve this. Keeping the customer updated and delivering our promises to fulfil the expectations of our customers are at the forefront of everything we do.
This will be a challenging, multi-functional role and a keen eye for detail and the ability to accurately maintain corporate reporting is crucial.
You will deliver great customer service, have a positive attitude, enthusiasm to learn new skills and the ability to exceed both your own and our customers' expectations.

We are looking for someone who loves a challenge, exceeds targets and, as a proven leader, feels capable of playing a supportive role within a team.
To succeed in this role, it is essential that you have experience managing a team, while also being able to demonstrate experience in the prioritisation/quality management of team outputs in complex circumstances
You will also have relevant knowledge of scheduling and responding to customer enquiries and complaints to the highest standard with first-time resolution.
You will have a strong customer focus with the ability to motivate a team to deliver the highest standards of customer service and effective planning of workloads.
The ability to apply good judgment in the application of policies, and a willingness to work as part of a high-performing team, respecting and collaborating with colleagues to deliver results, will also benefit you.
