Area Manager - Fashion

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Manager to join our team as an Area Manager - Fashion. This role will be responsible for managing the South West area for Fashion, covering a number of our sites in the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Drive profit optimisation and ensure commercial and creative retail standards are maintained.
  2. Evaluate trade using key performance indicators and identify areas to improve area performance.
  3. Contribute to business development strategies to ensure long-term success.
  4. Provide insight, influence, leadership, and mentoring to area stores.
  5. Undertake cost management to ensure stores are profitable and stay within budget.
  6. Be accountable for overall performance, including customer service, people, and day-to-day operations.
  7. Ensure compliance with company policies and operational guidelines.
  8. Responsible for the growth of the team, including recruitment, training, and succession planning.
  9. Travel across the area engaging with the team.
  10. Manage personal time and productivity according to company requirements.
  11. Provide innovative and practical commercial solutions to improve merchandising and drive profit and customer experience.
  12. Provide exemplary internal communication within the area and with the team of Regional Managers.

About You:

  1. Have a creative and entrepreneurial attitude towards retailing.
  2. 2-5 years of Regional Manager experience with a proven track record.
  3. Be able to recognise and act on sales opportunities.
  4. Be meticulous in detail in terms of product placement, standards, presentation, visual elevation, and overall look and feel.
  5. Be an inspirational leader for centre staff, ensuring they receive clear direction and performance management within a culture of coaching and mentoring.
  6. Positive and strong communicator and a skilled motivational people manager.
