An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Part time Band 3 fixed term contract post for a Heart Centre Coordinator Assistant to cover for a maternity leave for 12 months, ( hours a week, 8am-4pm)
The candidate will work closely and alongside the Heart Centre Coordinator and the nursing team for the day ward/Cath Lab. We have a small team that works really well together and support each other on a daily basis.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be responsible for co-ordinating all administration pertaining to the service including patient booking procedures; creating and maintaining filing systems and ensuring referrals are made for appropriate follow up. Ensuring patients are efficiently added to waiting list and information updated appropriately using PAS. Communicating with patients in a professional and appropriate manner.
The candidates must have an advanced knowledge of computer based tools including MS Office. Excellent communication and organisational skills.
