Who you’ll be supporting & more about the role: With experience working in a health or social care setting, you will have an upbeat positive manner, as well as having a genuine passion for supporting people to become a part of their local and wider community.
You will also have experience working with people supported who present behaviours that require intensive support planning and management to ensure their safety and quality of life at all times.
In addition you will be comfortable using basic IT systems that are required within the role - training can be offered to support this area. You will also hold a professional qualification in Health and Social Care, i.e. Nurse, Social Worker, SVQ Level 3 plus supervisory units (Scotland) / Care Management Level 3 (England).

At Finchley House there are 6 of us living here. Judith, Lee, Alyson, Lynne, Michael and Leigh.

Our ages range from 19 to 66

We need our team to be trained in Medication, Moving and positioning, Catheter care, PEG feeding and Dietary requirements. Complying with out SALT plans for our meal times risk reduction plans.

Epilepsy, Intense interaction, communication other then speech. Hydration, bowel management and most importantly remembering we require to be included in our daily decisions and encouraged to be as independent as possible. We need our staff members to help us live our Best lives Possible.
