A Client Services Manager is primarilyresponsible for client satisfaction and increasing sales. Its theirjob to assist clients resolve issues and implement changes that canstrengthen the companys relationship with its clients. Other dutiesand responsibilities of a Client Services Managerinclude:

  • Onboarding new clients anddevelop working relationships
  • Leading anddeveloping a team of sales representatives or customer carespecialists
  • Generating sales or servicereports for clients and senior management
  • Coaching and supporting team members to help them meetcompany goals
  • Keeping documentation andrecords of client interactions for training purposes
  • Conducting customer service presentations andworkshops
  • Developing surveys and obtainingclient information
  • Offering advice to clientson products orservices

A ClientServices Manager needs excellent communication and interpersonalskills along with practical reporting skills and proficiency incustomer management software. A successful Client Services Managerwill have various prerequisite skills and qualifications thattypically include:

Proven ability to identify and reach sales and profitabilitytargets

Ability to act on customer feedback andprovide meaningful solutions

Ability to lead anddevelop a successful sales team

Workingknowledge of relevant software including spreadsheets andSalesforce

Ability to compile and presentreports to management

Ability to identify andact upon new areas for growth and increase sales

Confidence and ability to deal with highend clients and importantstakeholders
