Werequire a Dietitian with proven experience of working with neurologicalconditions, complex case management and multidisciplinary team working, as wellas a willingness to embrace an interdisciplinary approach.

We are looking for aself-motivated, team player who will continue to promote their professionwhilst being flexible and supportive to the needs of our passionate andcollaborative team. In return, as well as regular clinical supervision andappraisals, we have regular in-service training and other CPD opportunities.

Main duties of the job

Youwill support people with neurological conditions to optimise their nutritionalwell-being in a range of dietetic domains including oral nutrition support,weight management, diabetes, home enteral feeding, and stroke secondaryprevention, which in turn helps people meet their rehab goals.

The right personwill have skills in behaviour change and understand the physical, cognitive andcommunication barriers that our patients face in managing lifestyle changes.

You will use complex case management skills and a multidisciplinary approach tomeet the needs of will be opportunities for complex case management, audit and servicedevelopment. You will provide line management and support to Band 6 Dietitiansand deliver staff training and assess competencies in key nutritional areas in nutritional screening and delivery of first line nutritional advice.
