Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified dietitian to join our Children's Team in Leeds Community Healthcare NHS Trust. The successful candidate will work with children from 0-19 years and their families/carers, providing specialist care and support.

Main Responsibilities

The post holder will be responsible for assessing, planning, delivering, and evaluating patient-centred programmes of care to a specialist level. They will work with children who are enterally fed, have feeding difficulties, and nutritional issues, including food intolerances and faltering growth.

The team works closely with hospital colleagues, commissioners, and paediatricians to develop pathways for children with complex needs. The post holder will be part of a supportive team that prioritises peer support and clinical leadership.

This is a permanent, flexible (hybrid working), part-time role. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of children and families, and contribute to the development of innovative care pathways.

Person Specification

The ideal candidate will have experience in delivering children's dietetics and be a team player who is passionate about supporting the delivery of an effective, responsive, and caring service.

They will be responsible for their own caseload and work to professional and regulatory body codes, standards, and guidance at all times.
