In a role supporting adults with autism, we are looking for individuals who have a passion to work in an organisation that specialises in autism, supporting autistic adults to live the life they choose. The role would suit a Deputy Manager or an experienced Senior Support Worker looking for the next step in their career.

You’ll be working with autistic adults and their families. You will be providing support and care to autistic adults enabling each individual to live independently, achieve their goals and access activities within the community. Each individual has a tailored support plan and activity plan which promotes their community involvement and engagement, it is based on their individual support needs and abilities.

As a Deputy Manager you will promote and demonstrate excellence in support and care for the people we support. As well as supporting the team and assisting the Registered Manager to ensure individuals achieve those Everyday Breakthroughs and compliance to CQC standards are achieved.

We are looking for a committed individual with relevant experience to support the Service Manager to maintain quality of service. The post holder will be responsible for leading outstanding care and management to the entire service, ensuring individual outcomes are met for people with autism.

Applicants will ideally have :-

Significant experience with working with people with Autism An NVQ Level 3/4 would be desirable or other relevant qualifications Previous management experience and good leadership Knowledge and experience of CQC standards Business and management skills to manage the work efficiently The ability to work well as part of a team A driving licence and access to a vehicle 

A driving licence and access to a vehicle is a requirement of the role 

Your working pattern will be varied over a seven-day rota and could include sleep-ins and bank holiday

You may have  a personal connection, a desire to work with or real-life experiences working with autistic people.  You’ll have experience in a senior support worker role or Deputy role, the desire to progress your career,  and if you share our values and are willing to make a difference to the lives of autistic people, we’d love to hear from you.
