Main duties of the job

You will be involved in providing a highlevel of safe and effective care. Be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementationand evaluation of care. Adhere to all Trust policies, procedures andguidelines. Liaise with the multidisciplinary team. Provide mentorship and support to others. The role will involve, butnot be limited to you performing the above.

What you can add:

To raise awareness of Mental Health issues in theworkplace. To update bank of current self-help literature oronline information; To refer to multidisciplinary team within OccupationalHealth and other outside agencies / GP where necessary OHWS provide short-term intervention only, for amaximum of six to eight sessions. To provide specialist risk assessment following referral (manager orclient). To assist in identifying collective health needs within specific groups. To provide specialist advice verbal and/or written reports followingassessment to other health professionals, managers, staff and clients.

The role will involve, but not be limited to you performing the above.

A minimum of 6 months paid experience in a Mental Health Hospital environment within the last 3 years

Desirable

Restraint and ILS Training completed within the last 12 months
