Job overview

The post holder is responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of evidenced-based nursing care, working collaboratively and co-operatively with others to meet the needs of patients and their families.

Assist in the management and organisation of their clinical area and participating in the education, development and supervision of other staff members.

A well motivated, conscientious person is sought to work in a busy Outpatients Dept. The post will allow the individual to enhance their existing knowledge in a varied clinical setting. The Outpatients Dept is constantly evolving with developments and added opportunities. A good communicator is essential. An interest in Health Promotion is desirable.

Good people management and interpersonal skills essential.

A willingness to develop and practice new skills, and an ability to manage change is essential.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
