Bangor, United Kingdom Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board Full time

Gwynedd and Mon CAMHS have an opportunity to create a dedicated Single Point of Access (SPoA) team for the service.

This is an exciting opportunity to work at the front door of children and young people’s mental health services, responding to requests for support, information and advice from our referring community. This extends across a broad range of services including education, primary health care, statutory and third sector providers.

Working as a CAMHS Practitioner as part of the SPoA team your focus would be to contribute towards developing the service model which will ensure children, young people and their families will have access to appropriate service provision according to their needs. This development aspect of the post would include engagement and liaison with key stakeholders. Additionally we offer the opportunity to work as part of the CAMHS multidisciplinary team offering assessment and brief interventions.

We are looking for a dynamic individual who values multi agency working in their practice and committed to helping children, young people and families in order to promote positive well-being and mental health.

If you are interested in the post please contact Nichola Thompson (CAMHS SPoA Team Lead) on 03000 850037.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply
