An exciting opportunity has arisen in Primary Mental Health Services for an experienced, motivated and forward thinking practitioner to join a busy supportive team based in the West area.

Position has arisen with the Arfon Community Mental Health teams at an exciting time where services are under review and development in order to meet the changing needs of both patients and carers.

We are looking for a good team player who has excellent communication skills and the ability to prioritize and manage their time effectively.

Provide initial mental health assessments in line with the agreed BCUHB assessment procedures for the LPMHSS.

Provide time-limited interventions in the primary care settings for patients with mild to moderate mental health problems.

Act as the first point of contact for GP’s, to offer advice and support and signposting on to appropriate agencies. Manage their own therapeutic care/interventions within the clinical environment and be accountable for the quality of care they deliver within the clinical area that he or she is responsible for.
