TA's Needed - Immediate start or as soon as possible. 

We are currently seeking two full-time 1:1 SEN Specialist Teaching Assistants to join our expanding team at Partnership Schools.

As a 1:1 SEN Specialist, you will provide invaluable support to our pupils, and we are looking for individuals with a strong understanding of SEN based in or around the Meldreth area with an SG8 postcode.

As this role may require travel to our Partnership Schools, applicants must have access to a car or reliable public transport. If you are based in surrounding areas, please see below for commute times by car.

This is a full-time position, working from 8:30am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday during term time.

Some relevant professional or personal experience in SEN is required for this role.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing support to pupils in various learning contexts, including the classroom, local environment, and community, to aid their learning, development, and progress across the curriculum.
  • Empowering and supporting pupils with a range of needs, such as PMLD, complex medical conditions, and autism, to achieve their educational and personal goals.
  • Promoting equality, diversity, and the rights of our pupils to be treated with respect and seen as learners.
  • Placing emphasis on support and empowerment for our pupils.
  • Promoting a greater understanding of Special Education issues and upholding the school ethos. 
  • Providing high-quality support in all aspects of the role.
  • Participating in physical intervention and personal care routines, if required.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
