Teaching Personnel is currently working with one of our Partnership Schools and they are excited to share that they are seeking three full-time Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistants to join their expanding team.
As a professional recruiter with two decades of experience in the UK market, we understand the importance of finding the right candidate to provide invaluable support to our pupils.
We are looking for individuals with a strong understanding of SEN, based in or around the Meldreth area with a SG8 postcode.
As this role may require travelling to our Partnership School, applicants must have access to a car or reliable public transport. If you are based in surrounding areas, please refer to the bottom of this vacancy for commute times by car.
This is a full-time position, working from 8:30am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday during term time. We are currently accepting applications for an immediate start (September 2024) or for roles starting after a suitable notice period.
Relevant professional or personal experience in SEN is required for this role.
As a TA, your duties will include:
Providing support to pupils in various learning contexts, including the classroom, local environment, and community, to aid their learning, development, and progress across the curriculum.
Empowering and supporting pupils with a range of needs, such as PMLD, complex medical conditions, and autism, to achieve their educational and personal goals.
Promoting equality, diversity, and the rights of our pupils to be treated with respect and seen as learners.
Placing emphasis on support and empowerment for our pupils.
Promoting a greater understanding of Special Education issues and upholding the values of the school.
Providing high-quality support in all aspects of the role.
Participating in physical intervention and personal care routines, if required.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
