Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated SEN Specialist Teaching Assistant to join our team at Partnership Schools. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting our pupils with special educational needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supporting Pupils with Special Needs: Provide individualized support to pupils with a range of special educational needs, including physical disabilities, complex medical conditions, and autism.
  • Empowering Pupils: Empower pupils to achieve their educational and personal goals by promoting equality, diversity, and the rights of our pupils to be treated with respect and seen as learners.
  • Supporting Learning and Development: Support pupils in various learning contexts, including the classroom, local environment, and community, to aid their learning, development, and progress across the curriculum.
  • Participating in Physical Intervention and Personal Care Routines: Participate in physical intervention and personal care routines, if required, to ensure the well-being and safety of our pupils.

Requirements: We are looking for an individual with a strong understanding of SEN and relevant professional or personal experience in this field. You must have access to a car or reliable public transport to travel to our Partnership Schools.
