Global Veterinary Careers are assisting the well-established referral centre as they seek a dynamic and enthusiastic Primary Care Clinical Director is sought to lead a forward-thinking team at a busy veterinary hospital in Wiltshire, which also functions as a specialist referral centre.

As the Primary Care Director, the successful candidate will manage a team of 13 FTE vets, working closely with the Head Nurse to maintain a positive working relationship between the veterinary and nursing teams, ensuring the delivery of efficient and high-quality service to clients and their pets.

The role involves reporting to the Hospital Director and includes responsibilities such as team management, overseeing the ICU department, coordinating the rota, and managing marketing efforts and the P&L for the Primary Care division. The Clinical Director will also participate in the rota with dedicated time allocated for administrative tasks.

About the Practice:

This practice is part of a larger hospital facility that includes a multidisciplinary referral team. Located in Wiltshire, the practice offers 24-hour emergency services alongside routine primary care for small animals. The primary care team works closely with, but separately from, the referral and ECC departments, ensuring comprehensive care for all patients.
