Portable appliance Tester (PAT)

Contracting - £17 per hour

We are recruiting for PAT testers to work at E-ppl, we are leading suppliers of Managed Services within the automotive industry. One of our premium customers require specialist support for PAT testers within their highly skilled team supporting customers including the police, fire, and ambulance service. We are looking for an experienced and passionate PAT Testers who can provide demonstrable experience to carry out in-service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment

 

Requirements

The main responsibilities for the successful candidates are:

·         Carry out Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment (PAT) on various electrical equipment.

·         Good understanding of electrical safety regulations to conduct thorough PAT testing.

·         Provide accurate test data and ensure the labelling of tested appliances.

·         Identify and replace faulty components, ensuring equipment safety.

Essential experience of the PAT tester

  • Demonstrable understanding of electrical installations
  • Basic knowledge of electrical safety hazards.
  • Ability to perform minor repairs at the point of testing.
  • Valid UK driving license
  • 18th Edition
  • PAT Tester 
  • NVQ Level 2 in an Electrical Discipline 

 

Benefits

Hours of work are Monday – Friday 7.30 to 16.30

Paid limited company or via umbrella company - Outside of IR35

£17 per hour
