Project & Extra Works Manager

Location: Thames Valley 

Reports to: Account Director

Job Summary: The Project & Extra Works Manager is responsible for the successful planning, management, and execution of large-scale projects and extra works across the Flutter estate. This role ensures that all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the quality standards expected by the client, while also supporting day-to-day operations by alleviating site teams of additional project management responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, manage, and oversee the execution of large-scale projects, including both physical infrastructure projects and organizational change initiatives.
  • Develop project timelines, budgets, and scopes of work, ensuring that all projects adhere to these parameters.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to generate quotes, consolidate supply chains, and ensure competitive market rates for high-cost works.
  • Provide hands-on management and leadership throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes.
  • Work closely with site teams to ensure that day-to-day operations are not disrupted by project activities.
  • Develop and implement processes to improve project response times and ownership, relieving pressure from site teams.
  • Report regularly to senior management on project progress, challenges, and successes, providing transparency and accountability.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience managing large-scale projects, preferably in facilities management or construction.
  • Strong project management skills, with proven experience in delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain management and cost control.
