BUSINESS AREA AND TEAM 

As the Global Head of Product Marketing at Xceptor, you will play a pivotal leadership role, directly reporting to our Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). We're seeking a skilful marketer with a technical orientation and proficiency in storytelling, ideally with a background in growing cloud and SaaS businesses.

The role will be based in our London office with a hybrid work model.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

Strategic Leadership: 

Lead a product marketing team to develop and implement effective go-to-market strategies.  Evaluate and refine our current messaging and positioning to create a cohesive strategy focusing operational and data requirements of hedge funds, banks, asset managers, custodians and fund administrators. 

Client Engagement and Market Analysis: 

Develop and maintain an understanding of buyer and influencer persona profiles, aligning key messages to critical needs throughout the buyers’ journeys.  Inform product and marketing strategy by staying updated with market trends, the client behaviours, new opportunities, geographic differences, and competitive threats. 

 Product Positioning and Sales Enablement: 

Oversee the creation of product positioning, value proposition development, and cross-channel content marketing to successfully engage the target audience.  Equip our sales teams with messaging, sales strategies, materials, tools, and market knowledge, with the aim of increasing the close rate. 

KEY SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Significant experience at director level of product marketing in enterprise software (SaaS and financial services expertise required).  A successful track record of high-impact platform and portfolio marketing. Experience developing and leveraging personas and journey maps, tailoring messaging to target buyers based on their needs and journey stages.  BA/BS degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. MBA is preferred.
