The Opportunity
As a Guest Service Agent at our hotel, you will be the first point of contact for our guests. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that all guests, especially those who speak Mandarin, receive a warm welcome and excellent service throughout their stay. Your role is pivotal in delivering the high standards of hospitality that we are known for.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet and welcome guests upon arrival. Assist guests with check-in and check-out procedures. Provide information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions. Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and efficiently. Communicate effectively with guests in Mandarin and English. Coordinate with other hotel departments to ensure guest satisfaction. Maintain accurate guest records and billing information. Uphold the hotel's standards of cleanliness, service, and quality.

Ideal Candidate

Fluent in Mandarin and English (both spoken and written). Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role is preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. Proficiency in using hotel management software and other office applications. A friendly, professional, and approachable demeanor.

Hotel

The Holiday Inn® Oxford hotel is conveniently located just off the A34, only three miles from Oxford town centre. Hotel guests can enjoy free parking and a short walk to the Pear Tree Park & Ride bus service for a quick 10-minute journey into the City Centre.

For those looking to explore further afield, Oxford Parkway train station is only five minutes away by car and provides easy access to London, while the designer outlet shopping at Bicester Village Retail Park is also within easy reach.

Within walking distance of the hotel are many of the University of Oxford's historic buildings, including the Radcliffe Camera and Christopher Wren's Tom Tower, as well as the Ashmolean Museum. Additionally, guests can take a short 10-minute drive to visit the birthplace of Winston Churchill at Baroque Blenheim Palace.
