INperson interviewonly Virginia State Police (VSP) is looking for a SeniorSystems Analyst with 6years of experience to lead golive planningand coordination for the Criminal and Rap Back Information System(CRIS) project. The incumbent will serve as the Team Leader for agolive planning and coordination team and will lead all aspects ofthe implementation of CRIS during the first half of 2025. Theincumbent will collaborate with CRIS suppliers interface partnersthe VSP Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) andInformation Technology (IT) Divisions on testing and implementationactivities. These duties involve the following: Leads all aspectsof the implementation of CRIS; plans and coordinates CRIS testingrelease rollout and postrelease refinement; collaborates with VSPIT and each interface partner to document and coordinate theirtasks in the release plan; plans and leads simulated rolloutsbefore each CRIS release; analyzes CRIS solution to defineimplementation requirements; plans and coordinates with the testdata team the creation scrubbing and use of test data to supportvarious testing scenarios; coordinates business change managementsuch as assisting management to create change management plans;update staffing plans and job descriptions; coordinate employeetraining; coordinate the assignment of CRIS user roles to endusers;coordinate with external stakeholders and customers; solicit andanalyze employee input and guidance. Candidates for this positionare required to have experience developing and executing systemtest and implementation plans. Also candidates for this positionshould possess strong leadership skills strong organizationadministrative analytical problem solving and interpersonal skills;be selfmotivated and able to develop rapport and positive workingrelationships with coworkers and the agency at large; be proficientin Organizational Change Management; have prior experienceimplementing cloudhosted Software As A Service (SaaS) solutions; beable to manage security access and user profile management; be ableto work collaboratively with various groups within VSP and VSPvendors to ensure requirements are vetted and documented; be ableto analyze functional/nonfunctional system requirements; possessexcellent communication skills in English and the ability tocommunicate with internal customers in nontechnical terms; beproficient with Microsoft Products (Word Excel Visio PowerPoint);be proficient in creating business and system requirements.Candidates should highlight any experience working on criminaljustice projects. The incumbent must work fulltime onsite at VSPheadquarters North Chesterfield.
